Prof. Sitthipong Nalinanon

Dr.-SitthipongNalinanon_ediAsst. Prof. Dr. Sitthipong Nalinanon completed his PhD in 2010 in Food Technology from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. He has been working as a lecturer since 2011 at the Faculty of Agro-Industry, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand. He won the Outstanding PhD thesis award of National Research Council of Thailand in 2011 and the Science and Technology Research Grant Award of Thailand Toray Science Foundation in 2012. Since 2015, he has been acting as Associate Dean for Research and Students’ Development affairs at the Faculty of Agro-Industry, KMITL. He is the Management staff of Current Applied Science and Technology journal. He is also the Editorial cum Advisory Board member of Current Research in Nutrition and Food Science journal. Dr. Sitthipong is an active researcher who interested in research topics relating to utilization of seafood byproducts, collagen, gelatin, protein hydrolysate, glucosamine and bioactive compounds. He has got 12 research grants, based on those research interests, from KMITL and Thai government funding agencies. He is an author of a book chapter, entitled “Fish Collagen” in Food Biochemistry and Food Processing. According to SCOPUS, he has 23 publications with 635 citations and H-index of 13 (accessed in August 2018).
