Prof. Jiwan S. Sidhu

Prof. Jiwan S. Sidhu is currently a Professor of Food Science in College of Life Sciences, Kuwait. He has graduated from the Punjab Agril. University (PAU), Ludhiana, India and obtained his Ph.D. Grain Science, Kansas State University, USA. He has about 47 years of teaching and research experience. He won Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Fellow award, Germany in 1986-1988. He was also awarded Laljee Godhoo Smark Nidhi Award by AFST(I), Mysore for outstanding R&D  contributions in Food Sci. & Technology area, in the year 1989. Furthermore, he has been listed in the Marquis Who’s Who in the World-2000, 17th Edition, (pub. 1999), under the entry # 28103612 and won PAUTA’s Best Teacher Award by PAU, Ludhiana for the year 1992. He has published 94 research papers in peer-reviewed journal, 27 book chapters in USA books, and 69 general papers. His Scopus h-index is 16 with total 787 citations.
