Dr_Ravi_ShuklaI am currently an Associate Professor of Bioscience & Food Technology, and Co-leader of Sir Ian Potter Biosensing Facility, at the RMIT University Australia. I have over 15 years of research experience in interdisciplinary research areas spanning Biosciences, Food, Medicine, and Materials Science. My peers regard me as a meticulous cell and molecular biologist who developed an international profile as a cross-disciplinary researcher in the understanding of cellular responses to materials. I have a strong track record of research excellence and have achieved credible recognition for my research including 100+ research publications cited over >6500 times with a Hirsch index of 37; and over 20 patents and invention disclosures for the inventions. I have supervised over 15 Ph.D., 5 Masters, and over 50 undergraduate researchers to completion; routinely engage and contribute to day-to-day University academics.
I am a strong proponent of open access publishing and contribute to four journals including Frontiers (Associate Editor). I am a regular reviewer of over 15 journals and national & international grant applications including the Australian Research Council and National Health & Medical Research Council.
